About
I have spent sixteen years keeping company IT running: macOS fleets, office networks, and the cloud services behind them. Most of my work sits where those three meet, supporting eleven offices across five countries in Asia Pacific. This site is where I keep the projects and writing that show how I work.
Background
- Cloud operations at a global internet company, alongside eleven years of macOS systems administration. The offices I support span five countries across Asia Pacific.
- Five years in network engineering earlier in my career, mostly Mikrotik and Ubiquiti equipment, with Fortinet on the security side.
- Before the cloud work, a VMware private cloud of a few hundred virtual machines, and an OpenStack test platform before that.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional (2021-2024) and AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate (2023-2026).
What I'm doing now
- Packaging and deploying macOS software across offices in five countries, and making that process repeatable instead of configured by hand at every site.
- AWS operations: IAM Identity Center across regions, permission governance under Organizations, and automating account provisioning so it stops being manual work.
- Monitoring with Zabbix across endpoints, network equipment, and cloud resources.
Outside of work
- OpenWrt, mostly on hardware I own.
- Building small tools and sites with AI coding assistants. This site is one of them.
